That’s right — we said free rent. COVID has upended every aspect of our lives, including where we live. Fewer people are moving in or out of their homes. Some people are leaving the city entirely. This means more apartments are sitting vacant, and the property owners are giving massive discounts to anyone who starts a new lease. We’ve seen one, two, or more months of free rent available on many apartments. Here’s a selection of the ones we know about as of today (11/21/2020).
Property | Offer |
30 Dalton | up to 2.5 mos on most units if leased by end of 2020 |
Avalon Exeter | save up to $2,269 off monthly rent |
One Back Bay | up to 4 months complementary rent plus a $1,500 gift card |
Church Park | 2 months free rent on all apartments |
Avalon Prudential Center | save up to $362 off monthly rent |
AVA Back Bay | up to 3 months free rent on select apartments |
Park Lane Seaport | up to 2 months free rent on select apartments |
100 Pier 4 | Rent Assured program allows you to break lease after move-in |
Ora Seaport | 2 Months free rent |
Waterside Place | up to 2 Months free rent on select apartments |
315 on A | up to 1 month free rent on select apartments |
The Radian | up to 3 months free rent |
AVA Theater District | up to 2 months free rent, and up to $200 off select apartments |
Check back often as we will update this table regularly for any new offers we find.
Even if the apartment your considering has no offers, ask for some concessions anyway. Check their website (if they have one) to see what discounts may be available to other apartments in the building, and ask for something similar for the place you are considering. It can’t hurt to negotiate, and we are in a renter’s market until things get back to normal.
